“My specialty is getting to the heart of a brand and bringing its voice to life.”
I am a creative executive, strategist, and writer who has spent over 20 years crafting voices, narratives, and campaigns for brands you might recognize (think little blue boxes, lacy bras in striped, pink bags, a big blue coupon...). These days, I focus on helping founders and CEOs build the brands of the future—the ones that are going to make the world a better place.
My career has included book publishing, magazine editorial work, movie production, and both agency-side and in-house creative leadership. Known as much for my ability to write killer headlines worthy of the NY Times Style Section as I am for crafting a comprehensive brand book for a pre-launch perimenopause brand, my superpower lies in getting to the heart of a brand to uncover its voice and bring its stories to life. I can distill a complex message into elegant simplicity. I have brought my skills and experience to companies of varying sizes, stages, and industries, from startups to heritage brands (and everything in between) across the fields of women’s health, fashion and jewelry, fine arts, wellness and longevity, and lifestyle.
I am always ready to lend a pro bono creative hand to causes such as pediatric cancer, political activism, the revival of the creative arts in New York City, and adolescent health in underserved communities.
After many years of leading pitches and presentations in front of influential executives, I’m now speaking on panels and contributing to thought leadership publications on topics like the importance of creativity in branding. I earned my BA from McGill University and an MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London. While I travel enthusiastically and extensively, my heart (and home) will always be in New York.
