My Specialty is Getting to The Heart of a Brand and Bringing Its Voice
to Life

Shena Patel is a creative executive, strategist, and writer who has spent over 20 years crafting voices, narratives, and campaigns for brands you might recognize (think little blue boxes, lacy bras in striped, pink bags, and big blue coupons). She also has extensive experience as a portfolio creative executive, helping founders and CEOs build the brands of the future: the ones set to make the world a better place.

Shena is based in New York and has a storied career that includes book publishing, magazine editorial, movie production, and both agency-side and in-house creative leadership. Known as much for her ability to write killer headlines as she is for crafting comprehensive brand books, Shena’s superpower lies in getting to the heart of a brand to uncover its voice and bring its stories to life. She can also take a complex message and distill it with elegant simplicity. Shena has brought these talents to companies of varying sizes, stages (from startups that have yet to launch to established heritage brands and everything in between), and industries (including women’s health, fashion and luxury, fine arts, wellness and longevity, and lifestyle).

Shena also likes to lend a creative, pro bono hand to causes such as pediatric cancer research, political activism, the revival of the creative arts in New York City, and adolescent health in underserved communities.

After many years of leading pitches and presentations to influential executives, Shena is now speaking on panels and podcasts and contributing to thought-leadership publications on topics such as the importance of creativity in branding. She earned her BA from McGill University and her MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
